Our client in Pennsylvania is actively seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment starting Nov 3, 2026. This role involves managing HVI CCU patients under intensivist guidance. The schedule includes three 13-hour shifts per week, covering day, night, weekend, and holiday rotations, encompassing daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, post-operative management, and various procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Primarily manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of our Intensivist
- Perform daily rounding and patient management
- Handle order entry and patient admissions
- Provide post-operative management
- Execute procedures including arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal
Additional Information
- EMR System: Cerner
- Shift hours: Three 13-hour shifts (7am - 8pm or 7pm - 8am) per week, including night shift, weekends, and holidays
