Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Nights, 1900–0730). Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed.
- Contract Length: Travel contract (Target Start Date: October 19, 2026).
- Distance & RTO Rules: Strict 50-mile radius rule (no local candidates; driver's license required at submittal). All RTO must be submitted with the application (no post-submission RTO accepted).
Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules
- Floating Mandate: Travelers are subject to float between all Cone Health campuses as needed.
- Testing & Compliance: Must pass a compliance EKG exam (maximum 2 attempts). Third-party education verification required (degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list are not accepted). No open background cases permitted.
- Unit Scope & Ratios: Inpatient rehabilitation caring for CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility. Patient ratios are 1:6 (rotating unit ratio of 1:7 for equivalent acuity). Charting via Epic.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required. No first-time travelers accepted. Acute care rehab experience preferred.
- Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) RN license or multi-state compact license in hand at submittal.
- Certifications: AHA BLS required.
