We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for an impactful 16-day assignment in Vermont, commencing Nov 23, 2026. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, including daily patient rounds, managing deliveries, C-sections, and addressing emergent OB/GYN cases. The physician will provide comprehensive patient care, from well-woman exams and contraception management to prenatal visits, ensuring timely and expert medical attention.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for deliveries.
- Conduct daily patient rounds, typically starting at 7 AM.
- Maintain readiness for quick response to emergent cases when called in.
- Manage deliveries, C-sections, and occasional ectopic pregnancies.
- Perform patient consults for a full scope of OB/GYN needs.
- Conduct annual well-woman exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
- Manage menstrual disorders, such as heavy bleeding and irregular cycles.
- Provide contraception management, including IUD insertion/removal and implants.
- Offer menopause management.
- Conduct routine prenatal visits, including monitoring maternal and fetal health.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- EMR: Meditech EHR.
- 24-hour out-of-house call schedule; provider must be at a hotel within 30 minutes of the hospital.
