REQUIRED PROCEDURESJOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Licenses: Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license; Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
- Certifications: NRP required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians
- Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM
- Other Qualifications: Case logs for previous 2 years; seasonal influenza vaccine required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a 17-bed ED with approximately 25,000 annual visits.
- Work 12-hour shifts, including both 7a-7p and 7p-7a coverage.
- Supervise Physician Assistants and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (22 hours/day APP support).
- Perform moderate sedation and other emergency procedures as required.
- Maintain required certifications and documentation including case logs and immunizations.
