- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience caring for post-surgical and medical-surgical patients preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Comfort working with Meditech EMR is helpful
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and professional bedside nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and discharge planning
- Care for post-surgical patients and support needs such as pain management and CIWA protocols
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain a positive, energetic presence while contributing to a strong team culture
