Job Requirements

At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
2 years of RN experience preferred
Previous charge nurse experience required
U.S. clinical experience required
Current RN license in hand; compact license required at submission if applicable
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Epic charting experience required
Strong telemetry nursing skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
Ability to float to varied inpatient units based on facility needs
Must be flexible with scheduling and holiday coverage expectations

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to med surg and telemetry patients
Care for a diverse patient population including ER boarded patients and varying acuity levels
Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Deliver excellent bedside care while maintaining a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-6
Support charge responsibilities on smaller units when assigned
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient flow and quality outcomes
Float between units and nearby sister facilities as needed to support operational needs
Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic
Follow unit protocols, safety standards, and infection prevention practices
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented acute care environment
