Job Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience, including at least 1 year in ICU nursing
- Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and caring for psychiatric patients
- Comfort using EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration systems
- Ability to float to Critical Care units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork in a high-acuity healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based patient care to ICU patients
- Monitor and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and other critical care equipment
- Administer medications and titrate vasoactive infusions according to unit protocols
- Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in clinical status
- Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain timely charting standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Support orientation and unit training expectations, including required onboarding shifts
- Provide flexible coverage within Critical Care when floating is needed
