Contract | 3x10-hour shifts per week (12:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | 30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness in the post-operative period
- Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions from the OR to the PACU
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 18 months of PACU experience required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- PALS certification preferred
