Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
- Float to other units as needed based on operational requirements
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as operationally required
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (Adult and Pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on Adult exam)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring in an inpatient setting
- Familiarity with float pool or multi-unit nursing environments
- Experience in a high-acuity or advanced inpatient hospital setting
