Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) with Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients in a Level I Trauma setting
- Manage on-call obligations including 2 weekday on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, 1 weekend 12-hour on-call shift per 6-week schedule, and 1 summer and 1 winter on-call holiday
- Document patient care using Cerner Aecis Surgi Net charting system
- Float as needed to affiliated GI or pain center locations
- Adhere to all compliance requirements including labs, PA fingerprinting, and facility orientation modules
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care or PACU
- Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- PALS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in SICU, MICU, or CTICU settings
- Familiarity with mixed adult and pediatric patient populations
- Experience with Cerner-based charting systems
