Contract | Days | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 07:00–19:30
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and manage a diverse patient population presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Assume care of Telemetry Holding patients when operationally necessary
- Accurately document all patient care activities using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and timely patient throughput
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license (California experience required)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner charting — candidates without Cerner experience will not be considered
- Willingness and ability to care for Telemetry Holding patients as needed
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- ACLS and/or TNCC certification
- Experience in a high-volume emergency department environment
