Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
- Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members while working independently
- Monitor and assess patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry-level care
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications and adhere to all clinical protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — Nursys verification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
- Completed skills checklist and professional references required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rapid admission or high-acuity medical-surgical environment
- Strong ability to prioritize and adapt in a high patient-turnover setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
