Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (36 hrs/week) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced PCU-level care in a unit that operates similarly to an ICU environment
- Care for 24-hour post-CABG cardiac surgery patients, including those with chest tubes
- Manage patients with LVADs (facility orientation/course provided)
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
- Complete a proctored, non-multiple-choice rhythm identification test upon start (two attempts allowed)
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of IMC/PCU/Step Down experience within the past 3 years
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers
- Navy Blue scrubs required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients, including chest tube management
- Familiarity with LVAD patient care
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
