Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care on a surgical unit specializing in ENT patients, including those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
- Care for patients undergoing general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
- Monitor and manage postoperative patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN
- Proficiency caring for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ENT, head and neck, or bariatric surgical nursing
- Familiarity with postoperative airway management
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
