Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, head and neck, and bariatric surgery patients
- Care for patients with complex airway needs including tracheostomies and laryngectomies
- Support general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery patient populations
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the shift in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN with strong clinical skills applicable to ENT and head and neck surgery
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies
- Background in ENT, head and neck, or bariatric surgical nursing
- Familiarity with complex post-operative surgical patient management
