Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult oncology and trauma PCU patients on an 18-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–1:5
- Titrate and manage drips including Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, Insulin, and Protonix
- Operate and monitor high-flow respiratory equipment as needed
- Conduct hourly rounding and participate in bedside shift report to support patient experience standards
- Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Nursing Assistants, Charge Nurses, PT/OT, Case Management, Social Work, and Dietitians
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps
- Ability to comply with facility fingernail policy — artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing experience preferred; strong PCU experience without oncology background may be considered
- ONS/ONCC certification preferred
- Chemotherapy certification preferred
