Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients of varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Respond to emergent and critical situations, applying clinical judgment to prioritize patient safety
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee (or compact license eligibility)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Must meet travel assignment compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Department
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in acute care settings
- Previous travel nursing experience
