Registered Nurse – Special Procedures (IR/Special Procedures)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients within the Radiology/Special Procedures department
- Administer IV sedation to patients undergoing radiology procedures
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Adhere to facility holiday scheduling requirements, including coverage for designated major and minor holidays
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
- Background in ICU, Emergency Room, or PACU required if Radiology RN experience is not held
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior Radiology RN experience strongly preferred
- Experience administering IV sedation in a procedural or clinical setting
- Familiarity with special procedures workflows and radiology department protocols
