Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 13–18 Week Contract Options Available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation modules and annual hands-on competency requirements as directed by the facility
- Maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the duration of the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience
- Active AHA BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience gained within a single facility or location (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration assessment processes
- Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
