Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate in a high-volume Operating Room environment across multiple surgical specialties
- Operate and assist with robotic surgical procedures using the Da Vinci Xi robot; familiarity with the DV5 Da Vinci robot is a plus
- Function independently across specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
- Fulfill on-call obligations within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time required
- Work weekend shifts as assigned within a 6-week matrix; weekends may fall on days, evenings, or nights
- Adhere to holiday coverage expectations, including working scheduled major holidays as required by the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with no license hits (hard stop); must meet state licensure requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robot — must be able to function independently with no need for refresher training
- AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with the DV5 Da Vinci robotic system
- Experience with robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
- EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
- Ability to scrub and circulate across all listed surgical specialties independently
