Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 3 shifts/week with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period | Projected Start: September 21, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across a mixed-acuity unit serving ICU, PCU, Telemetry, and Medical/Surgical level patients from admission through discharge
- Perform and assist with procedures including debridement, dressing changes, line insertions, chest tube insertions and maintenance, and post-operative procedural care
- Monitor and manage hemodynamic status, including drip titration, and interpret cardiac rhythms using AirStrip cardiac monitoring technology
- Adhere to bedside shift report requirements and uphold patient experience standards centered on courtesy and respect
- Collaborate within a strong multidisciplinary team including burn surgeons, nurse practitioners, intensivists, rehabilitation, dietary, pharmacy, and case management
- Float to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU) as needed per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Missouri
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU or PCU level of care
- Cardiac rhythm proficiency required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Burn unit experience strongly preferred
- NIH certification preferred
- ABLS certification preferred
- Hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration experience preferred
