Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely in accordance with facility protocols, including completion of required medication competency assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
- Participate in required orientation activities, annual hands-on competency training, and pre-start modules as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum of 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
- One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applying specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted
- Must have no open licensing actions; facility does not accept any license hits
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience within a single facility or health system in the Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty is preferred
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and electronic medication administration processes
- Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
