Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting during night shift hours
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including 3 weekends per six-week schedule and 2 out of 3 winter holidays
- Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs and within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including orientation modules completed during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric cardiac experience
- BSN preferred
