Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage of patients utilizing critical thinking and comprehensive assessment skills
- Manage IV/IO access, chest tube management, urinary catheterization, and critical care drip administration
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and provide appropriate interventions
- Deliver critical care assessment and management within a 16-bed Emergency Department at a 4:1 variable patient ratio
- Document patient care accurately using FirstNet – Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (applicable to state of practice)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- CPI certification required (may be obtained after contract start; provided on site)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Proficiency in IV skills, cardiac monitoring, and critical care assessment and management
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with FirstNet – Cerner EMR
- Comfort with critical care drip management and IO access
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
