Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Variable Shifts | Rotating | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical ICU setting, managing a mixed case load including joint replacements, general surgical patients, and medical patients
- Rotate shifts including variable 12-hour days and nights, with weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled (2 weekends out of 4; night shift: Fri/Sat, day shift: Sat/Sun)
- Float to additional facilities as needed within the regional network
- Demonstrate competency in both ICU and Med/Surg patient populations
- Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season for unvaccinated staff
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Med/Surg experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

- Demonstrated ability to manage change, adapt to evolving unit needs, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team player
- Confident and assertive clinical skill set with the ability to work independently when needed
