Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
