Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting during overnight shifts
- Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret findings to support patient care decisions
- Establish and maintain IV access and manage PICC lines
- Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures
- Support lumbar puncture procedures as part of the clinical care team
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year and 6 months of registered nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Demonstrated experience with conscious sedation
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an emergency room or medical-surgical setting
- Experience assisting with lumbar puncture procedures
- Familiarity with PICC line insertion and management
