Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | 6-Month Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Iowa (or compact license eligibility)
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Emergency Room clinical experience required
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract nursing experience
- Experience with high-acuity or high-volume emergency department environments
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in emergency settings
