Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

South Weymouth, MA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every 3rd weekend | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonates in a Level 3 or Level 4 intensive care setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for critically ill neonates
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Respond to emergent situations and provide neonatal resuscitation as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU Level 3 or Level 4 experience required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity neonatal environment
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in neonatal care
