Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, monitor, and triage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room experience within the past 3 years
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II Trauma Emergency Department
- Strong triage and critical thinking skills in emergent patient situations
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
