Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Labor and Delivery setting encompassing Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum units
- Perform and interpret External Fetal Monitoring, including recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Circulate for C-section procedures as needed
- Float to Perinatal unit when operationally required
- Participate in on-call rotation, expected approximately 2 times per month in addition to scheduled shifts
- Work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) and be available for most holidays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
- Active California RN license required at time of submission
- Epic EMR experience required
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- AWHONN Advanced certification required
- Must successfully pass an Advanced EKG exam (onsite, 80% minimum passing score; two attempts permitted)
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the travel rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with both Low and High Risk Labor and Delivery cases
- Familiarity with unit systems including SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
