Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room environment
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patients presenting with a wide range of acuities
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Perform and interpret NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) assessments as required
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Some trauma experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center setting
