PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- Licenses: Active TX License, Active DEA
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
- Experience: 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide 24-hour emergency medicine physician coverage in 12-hour shifts.
- Manage and treat patients in the ED with an annual volume of 21,000.
- Supervise and collaborate with APP coverage (10 hours per day).
- Perform required procedures and stabilize patients in a Level IV Trauma Center.
- Maintain board certification, Texas license, DEA, ACLS and ATLS certifications.
