Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (6 Months) | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in a telemetry or medical/surgical setting
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- ACLS certification
