Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 13–18 week contract options available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit on night shift
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competency requirements as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State License — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
- AHA ACLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 12 months permanent employment experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months
- Must be able to achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments (completed during orientation; maximum of 2 attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location preferred (combined experience considered)
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
