Contract | Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an oncology setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
- Monitor and care for patients requiring step-down level observation and intervention
- Support surgical patients throughout the perioperative and post-operative phases of care
- Perform telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio or a compact license
- Experience in oncology nursing
- Experience in step-down, surgical, or telemetry care settings
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple acute care specialties such as oncology, step-down, surgical, and telemetry
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
