Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, collaborating with the obstetric care team
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Familiarity with fetal monitoring and interpretation
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
