Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- May be reassigned to an open shift later in the week or floated to another unit or care site within the health system to maintain contracted hours based on operational need
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact license)
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Flexibility to adapt to staffing needs, including potential reassignment based on unit census
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification preferred
- Experience floating within a multi-site health system
