Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
- Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity inpatient environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
- CVICU experience required
- Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
- Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required; maximum of three attempts)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
- Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care area
