Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Iowa-licensed Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage in Dyersville, Iowa. This role supports emergency care in a small critical access hospital environment with an Emergency Department and inpatient responsibilities.

Clinical Scope
- Provide emergency patient care in a 3-bed Emergency Department
- Manage inpatient responsibilities for 20 beds (observation, acute, and swing bed)
- Evaluate, stabilize, treat, and disposition patients across emergency and inpatient workflows
- Use TogetherCare (EPIC) for documentation and order entry
- Work with on-site support staff, including RNs and a CNA
Schedule Details
- 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM), with occasional 12-hour shifts
Practice Environment
- Critical Access Hospital with a 3-bed Emergency Department and 20 inpatient beds
- TogetherCare (EPIC) used for clinical documentation and order entry
Requirements
- Active Iowa medical license
- MD degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
