Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing opportunity in Syracuse, New York, beginning in December 2026 and currently extending through June 2027.
With 2–3 full-time openings, this assignment combines a highly desirable daytime schedule with a substantial anesthesia practice spanning hospital ORs, an ambulatory surgery center, endoscopy, and cardiac procedural coverage. No CRNA call is required, and dedicated in-house CRNA coverage handles evenings, nights, and weekends.
Schedule
- Start: December 2026
- Ongoing through June 2027
- Full-time coverage
- 10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- No call
- No weekend coverage
- 2–3 full-time CRNA openings
Anesthesia Practice
- 15 main operating rooms
- 4 ambulatory surgery center rooms
- Hospital OR coverage
- Ambulatory surgery
- Endoscopy
- Cardiac lab
- Level II trauma environment
- Adult, geriatric, and patients age 16+
- Epic EMR
- Regional blocks are not required
Practice Model
- Supervised anesthesia model with meaningful CRNA autonomy
- CRNAs must be comfortable functioning independently within the established model
- 1:4 anesthesiologist-to-CRNA supervision for general coverage
- 1:2 supervision for cardiac coverage
- Anesthesiologist may not remain continuously in the room
- Support includes scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
