We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day assignment in Texas. Our client requires coverage for 12-hour shifts, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a. This role involves performing critical emergency procedures such as intubations, central line placement, and managing diverse trauma and medical emergencies, including OB deliveries and dislocation reductions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform intubations and central line placements
- Utilize ultrasound for diagnostic and procedural guidance
- Manage OB deliveries in emergency settings
- Execute dislocation reductions
- Place chest tubes as needed
- Provide comprehensive trauma management
- Perform laceration repairs
- Efficiently manage stemi and stroke cases
