JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- Licenses: Active LA Medical License or IMLC, CDS, DEA with LA address
- DEA/CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
- Certifications: ACLS, ALS, PALS (if not BC in EM)
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
- Other Qualifications: CME within past 2 years, case logs, copies of all education & training diplomas, ECFMG if applicable, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, TB results, flu vaccine, health attestation, interview with Medical Director
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Pro vide comprehensive ER emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
- Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory ER emergencies.
- Perform required ER emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, central lines, etc.).
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and scribes in patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and com ply with hospital policies and regulations.
