We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 40-day assignment in Massachusetts. This role involves varied weekday shifts in the Main OR, including 8, 10, or 12-hour options, alongside 24-hour in-house shifts for OB on both weekdays and weekends. The successful candidate will administer anesthesia for a diverse range of cases such as Bariatric, ENT, GYN, Ortho-Total Joints, and Thoracic procedures, while also performing labor epidurals with physician backup as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Administer anesthesia for a wide array of surgical procedures including Bariatric, ENT, GYN, IR, Ortho-Total Joints, Plastics, POD, Spine, Thoracic, URO, and VASC cases.
- Perform labor epidurals, with physician backup available as necessary.
- Work under 100% physician supervision within an established team.
- Utilize ultrasound for regional blocks.
- Manage a schedule encompassing weekday Main OR shifts and 24-hour in-house OB coverage.
