About the Clinician's WorkdayThis locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide concurrent 24-hour call coverage across two inpatient hospital facilities on an on-site basis, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM and including 4 gratis hours per shift. Clinicians will respond to urology needs via phone - including physician-to-physician consults, regional transfer line calls, and clinical or nursing guidance - as well as in person when on-site care is required. Surgery is within the scope of this assignment, and clinicians are expected to round on patients following paged or on-site care. Clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Urology and prescriptive authority are required for consideration, and a 30-minute on-site response time is expected when called.
