We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in California. This role has a daily schedule from 8:30am – 5:00pm. The position involves providing comprehensive primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing diverse patient needs including acute and chronic conditions, preventative care, and specialized women's health procedures, primarily for an adult population.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects.
- Manage multiple patient complaints per visit.
- Primarily treat adult patients; no pregnant patients seen.
- Conduct kid physicals as school begins, along with well-child checks.
- Address cases including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, homeless care, and LQBTQ care.
- Perform annual check-ups and typical FQHC primary care.
- Execute women's health procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon removals.
