We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment in West Virginia. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical cases, including general and advanced airway management, with a flexible Monday through Friday schedule offering 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. The client prefers candidates available for four weeks per month, with a minimum commitment of two weeks per month.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia for General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, GI/Endoscopy, Urology, Trauma, Plastics, Dental/Oral Surgery, Podiatry, OP/Ambulatory, and Emergency Airway/ICU/Critical Care cases.
- Administer general anesthesia.
- Perform peripheral IV and A-line placements.
- Execute advanced airway management techniques.
- Work Monday through Friday, with options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
- Commit to a minimum of two weeks per month, with a preference for four weeks per month.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
- The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
- Typical shift hours include 7a-3p, 7a-5p, and 7a-7a.
