Level II Trauma | 47K Annual ED Volume | Epic EMR
Rhino Medical is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Bristol, Tennessee. This is a high-volume Emergency Medicine opportunity within a Level II Trauma Center, supported by substantial daily physician and APP coverage and a broad pathway for qualifying board certification.
Emergency Department
- Approximately 47,000 annual ED visits
- Level II Trauma Center
- 342-bed hospital
- 38 physician coverage hours daily
- 33 APP coverage hours daily
- Epic EMR
Physician Profile
- MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited 3-year Emergency Medicine residency
- New Emergency Medicine residency graduates are welcome
- Emergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months are eligible
- ECFMG certification required for international medical graduates
Licensure & Credentialing
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
- Active DEA registration with Tennessee address
- Ability to obtain and maintain required hospital privileges
Board Eligibility / Certification
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified through one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
- American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS)
- American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- ATLS
- PALS required if not ABEM Board Certified
- NRP required for non-ABEM providers
