About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Oregon!
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 125-day assignment in Oregon, starting Nov 2, 2026. The schedule will consist of either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, complemented by call responsibilities. This role involves providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal and postpartum care, various deliveries, routine gynecologic exams, and a wide range of surgical procedures, with a focus on robotic surgery.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide prenatal and postpartum care.
- Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs.
- Conduct routine gynecologic exams and Pap tests.
- Execute office procedures including EMB, colposcopy, and IUD insertion.
- Perform surgical procedures such as Colposcopy, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Ovarian cyst removal, Hysteroscopy/D&C ± endometrial ablation, Tubal ligation, salpingectomy, and Diagnostic laparoscopy.
- Manage ectopic pregnancy treatment.
- Perform Da Vinci robotic surgical cases.
- Offer comprehensive OB/GYN care, patient evaluations, and complex gynecologic care.
- Collaborate with midwives, nurses, anesthesia, and other clinical team members.
- Provide physician support for midwives and Nurse Practitioners.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
- Experience with Athenahealth EMR.
- Practice includes both clinic office visits and a full scope of OB/GYN surgeries, including robotic surgery.
- Call schedule is required.
- Expected patient volume ranges from 16 to 20 patients per day.
- Work alongside midwives and Nurse Practitioners, with collaborative support from nurses and anesthesia.
- Surgically trained with robotic surgical experience.
