Contract | Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Rotating holidays and weekends | No call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed unit specializing in Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric Surgery
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy in accordance with ONS/ONCC certification standards
- Manage patients requiring chest tubes and other specialized procedures
- Float to Med/Surg/Tele as needed
- Work two of the three winter holidays as required per contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand at the time of submission — no exceptions
- Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required and must be active at the time of submission
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current, relevant Oncology RN experience
- Local travelers are welcome; rates are the same regardless of residency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest tube management
- Background in Thoracic or Bariatric Surgery nursing
- First-time travelers will be considered
